We were very comfortable in cosy Green Cottage.\u00a0 It had everything we needed and we loved the decor and mix of modern and old.<\/p>\n

Robin Hoods Bay is a beautiful, friendly place to stay and we enjoyed the pubs and cafe’s.<\/p>\n

Would recommend the walk to Boggle Hole and the Theakstons Old Peculiar at The Laurel.<\/p>\n

We have had a lovely time in Robin Hoods Bay.\u00a0 Green Cottage is a lovely cottage, we loved all the cosy, eclectic furnishings and found it very relaxing and welcoming.\u00a0 We have enjoyed walking around the village, the pretty cottages and sitting by the sea and the walk to Boggle Hole.\u00a0 We have also been to Whitby, Sandsend Beach, Scarborough, Filey and Staithes.\u00a0 All well worth a visit.\u00a0 Thankfully the sun has been out most days, making it even more enjoyable.\u00a0 We have really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t

We loved our stay in Green Cottage. It was so cosy and we loved the details and features from the sails for blinds and stained glass.\u00a0 Thank you for the welcome pack.\u00a0 Robin Hoods Bay is beautiful.\u00a0 We enjoyed doing the RHB smugglers trail.\u00a0 The kids enjoyed the clues and finding out the history.\u00a0 We loved crabbing on the Quarter Deck at high tide, visiting the RHB museum, dinner and breakfast at Brambles Bistro – some of our favourite meals ever!\u00a0 Make sure to book – they get busy.\u00a0 Dollies Sweet Shop – the waffles and ice cream were delicious!\u00a0 We loved: (a short drive) watching the sunset by Whitby Abbey.\u00a0 Sandsend\u00a0 Beach – great place to splash in the sea and you can park near by.\u00a0 We have loved staying here and would love to come back soon.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t

We really enjoyed our stay in Green Cottage – a lovely place to spend our week in RHB.\u00a0 Our highlights were: The sounds of the sea and the sea gulls, walking along the beach at low tide looking for fossils and shells, fish and chips from “Fish Box”, a friendly welcome at the Methodist church Sunday service, Sandsend Beach, meal at the Royal Hotel at Runswick Bay, Whitby Abbey, meal at Bramble Bistro, coffee and freshly cooked doughnuts for breakfast at The Galley on the Quarterdeck, Chocolate Truffles from Browns, going on the forest walks around Falling Foss Tea garden.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t

Had a lovely weekend in Robin Hoods Bay and Green Cottage – just what we needed! Very much enjoyed the sea air, beach walks, exploring all the alleyways, fossil hunting……. and fish and chips. Then escaping back to our cosy cottage, shutting the door and lighting the fire was fab. Loved all the nautical decor and the rooftop bedroom. Thank you again for a great stay.<\/p>\n

Had a wonderful stay in Green Cottage – tastefully quirky and original. The weather has been lovely so we were able to explore Robin Hoods Bay to the full.<\/p>\n

Fantastic meal at Bramblewick, but food in general was good and at all places we visited (Victoria Hotel, The Cove and Smugglers),<\/p>\n

We have enjoyed another wonderful week in Robin Hoods Bay, our 8th visit to the village and 2nd stay in Green Cottage. We love the cottages cosy characterful charm and attention to detail that ensures a comfortable home from home. This holiday we enjoyed all our regular haunts in the local pubs, especially enjoyed sitting in the Victoria and looking at the moon cast it’s light over the bay. We went to seaham to hunt for seaglass and visited the Ryedale Folk Museum which was delightful. Had a drink upstairs at Smugglers which was so cosy and atmospheric with the candlelight.<\/p>\n

On our last evening in the bay we enjoyed a delicious meal in Bramblewick Restaurant – highly recommend.<\/p>\n

The Grosvenor Hotel at the top of the hill has good food at a good price. The Victoria Hotel also has good food and is a nice setting for a relaxed meal. The Bay Hotel has decent food and is nearby.<\/p>\n

Our first visit to Green Cottage and it will definitely not be our last. We have stayed in a number of cottages in RHB but by far this is the best. If there is ever an image in your mind of the perfect seaside cottage then this must be it. Enjoyed a weekend for my 50th and to top it all it kept dry and was beautiful sunshine all day Sunday. Oh, and we got married here too, in the Chapel at Secret Sea View, it was the most wonderful day, and afterwards in Wainwrights bar at the Bay with our family and friends, much jolliness until late!
